Electrozad

The E-150 is a cold-applied low-profile end seal. It is designed for use with the following Raychem brand heating cables: BTV, QTVR, XTV, and KTV. Use the E-150 in applications with temperatures ranging from -60degF to 420degF (-50degC to 215degC). It is approved by FM, CSA, and PTB for use in hazardous locations. The unique design of the E-150 suits the demanding requirements of the industrial environment. The low-profile housing can be installed on pipes and other surfaces. A spring-loaded grommet makes a first seal to maintain a watertight connection, while the silicone-free, non-curing sealant used in the Raychem sealing boot adds a second seal, providing additional protection. The rugged construction makes the E-150 resistant to impact and suitable for high-temperature and chemical exposure. The end seal requires no heat source for installation and it is re-enterable, making maintenance fast and easy. Each kit contains all the necessary materials to do one end termination.

• The connection kit shall have a spring loaded grommet to maintain a watertight connection
• The connection kit shall use a silicone-free, non-curing sealant to provide additional sealing
• The connection kit shall use rugged engineering plastics for impact resistance
• The connection kit shall have NEMA4X/IP66 rating to keep the connections dry and corrosion free
• The connection kit shall use cold applied materials and shall not require the use of a heat gun, torch or hot work permit for installation
• The connection kit shall be rated to a minimum installation temperature of -40 deg F, minimum usage temperature of -60 deg F and maximum pipe temperature of 420 deg F
• 277 VAC for FM, CSA and 254 VAC for PTB operating voltage
• Engineered black polymer end plate and shim, silicone rubber sealing grommet and core sealer, stainless steel screws, compression spring, reinforcement plate
• Engineered black polymer enclosure
